Thinking Thin!

This is my journey through weight loss

I finally got down to my 10 pound mark yesterday, but of course I was up by a pound and a half today. So, it was back out walking today after a rest weekend. We finally got some good and healthy groceries in the house, so I'm back to eating better after 2 weeks of eating on a tight budget (mac-n-cheese, hot dogs, etc.). I'm now working toward losing another 10 pounds which will put me at 177 lbs! Woo hoo! Maybe, just maybe I can be looking and feeling a whole lot better by next summer! Here's what I look like as of yesterday. I want my face to thin out a bit still and I want to lose my double chin thingy or as my mom calls hers... a "gobbler"

About Me

My photo
My name is Amanda. I am married with two children (a 2 year old and a 7 year old). I live in a small town in Kentucky, but I haven't lived here forever. I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee and before that I was born in Brandon, Florida. I am a stay at home mother and I go to a holistic health college online. I am about to start another school soon. I will be studying to be a medical transcriptionist. My husband and I co-own a business with his father. We rent out party supplies and games and we also go to festivals all around Kentucky and set up game booths for children. That's pretty much my life in a nutshell!

About this blog...

This blog is geared to help me keep track of my weight loss and to help motivate me to stay on the right track. The idea is for me to lose 60-70 lbs. I know that I can do this safely and naturally. It's going to take some time and effort, but in the end, the rewards will be a healthy body, confidence, and a piece of mind. I hope that people will read my blog and be inspired to get started with their own weight loss endeavors.

This is me at 135 lbs before I got pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago.

This is me now at 193 lbs. I'm ready to look like I did in the first picture again!
