Thinking Thin!

This is my journey through weight loss

My weigh-in this morning was 193.6 lbs. I've dropped 3.4 lbs since last Thursday!! That's a start right? So what have I been eating? I've been eating pretty much anything I want in moderation and no desserts with the exception of Saturday which is my "off" day... I can eat (chocolate) and drink (wine) as much as I want on that day. I've been drinking water like CRAZY! I've had to pee like every 10 mintues! As for exercise, I've been walking a mile every morning with my mother in-law and after dinner I've been riding the bike with my son. Today I wasn't able to walk or ride the bike because it rained ALL DAY, but tomorrow is another day.

My energy is sky high and my attitude is determined. I am so into this goal right now and I am not EVEN thinking of stopping now!

About Me

My photo
My name is Amanda. I am married with two children (a 2 year old and a 7 year old). I live in a small town in Kentucky, but I haven't lived here forever. I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee and before that I was born in Brandon, Florida. I am a stay at home mother and I go to a holistic health college online. I am about to start another school soon. I will be studying to be a medical transcriptionist. My husband and I co-own a business with his father. We rent out party supplies and games and we also go to festivals all around Kentucky and set up game booths for children. That's pretty much my life in a nutshell!

About this blog...

This blog is geared to help me keep track of my weight loss and to help motivate me to stay on the right track. The idea is for me to lose 60-70 lbs. I know that I can do this safely and naturally. It's going to take some time and effort, but in the end, the rewards will be a healthy body, confidence, and a piece of mind. I hope that people will read my blog and be inspired to get started with their own weight loss endeavors.

This is me at 135 lbs before I got pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago.

This is me now at 193 lbs. I'm ready to look like I did in the first picture again!
