Thinking Thin!

This is my journey through weight loss

I think I've been over doing it with the walking the past couple of days. Tuesday, Wednesday, and today I walked about 10,000 steps each. I have blisters all over my feet, I have a rash where my legs rubbed together when I was walking, and I am wore out! I just wasn't in a good mood today. I think that I am going to slow things down a bit. Maybe I will take 5,000 steps a day instead, and every now and then go for the 10,000. Maybe when I lose more weight I will be able to handle the 10,000 steps.

Other than that, I have been doing really well with eating. I am still following my rules that I set. I am still at 191.4, but hopefully I will go down more soon!

About Me

My photo
My name is Amanda. I am married with two children (a 2 year old and a 7 year old). I live in a small town in Kentucky, but I haven't lived here forever. I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee and before that I was born in Brandon, Florida. I am a stay at home mother and I go to a holistic health college online. I am about to start another school soon. I will be studying to be a medical transcriptionist. My husband and I co-own a business with his father. We rent out party supplies and games and we also go to festivals all around Kentucky and set up game booths for children. That's pretty much my life in a nutshell!

About this blog...

This blog is geared to help me keep track of my weight loss and to help motivate me to stay on the right track. The idea is for me to lose 60-70 lbs. I know that I can do this safely and naturally. It's going to take some time and effort, but in the end, the rewards will be a healthy body, confidence, and a piece of mind. I hope that people will read my blog and be inspired to get started with their own weight loss endeavors.

This is me at 135 lbs before I got pregnant with my daughter 3 years ago.

This is me now at 193 lbs. I'm ready to look like I did in the first picture again!
